Bio


Jacob Lunderby is an artist and educator based in Philadelphia; he earned a BFA in Painting from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and an MFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Lunderby has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions nationally and internationally including Wedge Projects, Chicago, National Archeological Museum, Naples, Cretaquarium, Crete, Okinawa Prefectural Art Museum, Japan, Institute of Contemporary Art, Philadelphia, Minnesota Museum of American Art, Gwangmoon International Art Festival, Seoul.

In addition to his individual studio work, Lunderby collaborates with Josh Weiss as Lunderby/Weiss Studio on two-dimensional, interior based wall designs that reclaim the sacred and sublime in contemporary spaces.

Lunderby is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Drawing in the Art and Art History Department, Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design at Drexel University.
